I have a crappy one, but i used to play and i love it since it's the only source that i can use to practice in my home, but i want to buy a used baby grand!! If any one could help me with this I'll really appreciate it!! Also i need info about music colleges, since I'm a senior now i need to start checking some colleges!

See if the arts council or something in your area has a practice location. The one here owns a grand piano that is kept at the high school in a utility room. A lot of people don't know it's there, but anyone serious can get approved and go play it.
Otherwise I'd say that a baby grand might be a bit ambitious. Yamaha makes a lot of nice budget digital pianos. I know, horror. People say they're soulless, blah blah blah. You don't have to pay hundreds of dollars to get them tuned, you can plug in headphones, record on computers, etc. A lot of university music programs use electronic keyboards for keyboard classes. think about it.
This is a message posted on Yahoo Answers about music schools in the US.
"Depends on what style of music you do. Berklee is all about rock and contemporary, so if that's a fit, fabulous. New England Conservatory and Boston Conservatory are stronger in classical and etc.
Others you may want to consider - both pure music schools and full universities with excellent reps for their music programs - include:
- Boston University
- University of Hartford (the Hartt School)
If you're in NY, PA, MD, you can also look at:
- University of Rochester (Eastman School of Music)
- The New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music
- Mannes Conservatory
- Julliard
- Manhattan School of Music
- Johns Hopkins (Peabody Conservatory of Music)
- Curtis Institute
- Oberlin
- SUNY Purchase
- University of the Arts
- Rutgers (Mason Gross School of the Arts)
- Carnegie Mellon"

You might try Freecycle - which is an online community. The registration is free. I am sure there is one for your area. People try to dispose off their old unused stuff for free here which might include a piano. People had given away old upright pianos on two occasions in my area.
This has nothing to do with William Joseph.
Well then I don't know a piano raising community but isn't Julliard a great musical colledge~obsesive William Joseph fan
