NEW ALBUM "BE STILL" COMING MARCH 1, 2012!
Hello to my Family, Friends and "Josephans"!! I have an exciting announcement to make:
I AM RELEASING A NEW ALBUM!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUvLGEnyU30
I have wanted to make this album for years and now it is finally here! The album is titled "Be Still" and is a collection of sacred hymns I have arranged along with a couple of my new compositions.
In an effort to create an intimate listening experience, I have decided to record over half of the hymns as piano solos. Other selections include solo violin and solo cello. Guest artists playing on the album include Grammy nominated violinist Jenny Oaks Baker along with my dear friends who tour and perform with me - the INCREDIBLE Pauline Kim on violin and Liza McLellan also known as LIZA girl. It's Liza's fault that I now love the cello more than my own instrument!! J/K (kind of).
This will definitely be an exciting year! Stay tuned for more announcements regarding CD release parties, concerts, and many more things.
Thank you again, to each and every one of you. This album is for all of you, because I could not do this without your love and support!

Classical Crossover UK
http://www.classical-crossover.co.uk/charts/top20.html
William has made the Classical Crossover Charts this week, coming in at number 19 in top editor's picks!
This is what they have to say about WJ:
19. William Joseph
Why: The pianist discovered by David Foster is nothing short of jaw-dropping. If his compositions are not melodic and stunning enough, you can spend your time staring in awe at the blur of fingers and hands that race up and down the keyboard. Although he dabbles with the odd cover, Joseph mostly does his own thing.
Highlights: Within, Dust in the Wind, Asturias, A Mother's Heart, Standing the Storm
Amazing Grace
Hi Everyone!! First off, I wish I could reach out and call every single of one of you, because I’m missing you guys, and I know you are the best fans in the world, but even the best fans only have so much patience. But, have no fear! Though things have been a little quiet in WJ World it’s only because I’ve been held captive by my piano. Of course, I’m a willing prisoner and coming up with some really awesome new music that I can’t wait to share!!! Here is something I have been working on in my studio... I am creating this for a singer I am working with so the melody isn't in this demo for the first half but you'll get the idea... I fully intend to turn this into an instrumental track and will follow the same arrangement... please ignore the fake orchestra and the rigid piano :-) Just wanted to share this with you!! I hope you like it!

William Joseph Updates
We cannot tell you how excited we are to post this news! A few months ago the great Brendan Graham (who wrote “You Raise Me Up”) heard William perform in Los Angeles, and after hearing "Sweet Remembrance Of You" he was so inspired that he wanted to add lyrics. Now William and Brendan have created the beautiful anthem “O, America” and the Irish supergroup Celtic Woman have adopted it as their own! They have sung it every night on their American tour, and their adoring fans have rewarded the song with a standing ovation every night. And now, this song will be released to the world on June 23, 2009.
Please check out a clip of Celtic Woman performing “O, America”
here.
Let us and all the fans of Celtic Woman know what you think of this beautiful song, sprung from William’s absolutely beautiful “Sweet Remembrance of You.” Feel free to post your comments on William’s message board, but also this brand new board created on the Celtic Woman website.

William Joseph Performance Reviewd in Tampa Bay Informer
"Classical pop” pianist William Joseph kicked off his first U.S. headlining tour at Ruth Eckerd Hall on Friday, January 9th with a passionate and dynamic performance. Underneath sultry lights of green and purple, Mr. Joseph delivered a youthful and fresh twist on classical music, creating a hip and energetic style with his compositions.
He began delicate and careful, leaning into his piano, caressing each note softly as he played “Heroes”. He then picked up in intensity, creating a dynamic and engaging performance. After his first piece, one audience member let out a very genuine and very appropriate “Wow!”
The energy picked up as Mr. Joseph’s speed increased, faster than seemingly possible, a blur of fingers moving up and down over the keys. Despite the frenetic motion in his fingers, it was apparent Mr. Joseph was in command of the ivories and his speed, and not the other way around. He plays with the dexterity and skill of the most seasoned concert pianist while adding his own youthful zest, at once combining the wisdom of age and the energy of youth.
William JosephIf he sounds as if he has been playing for years and years despite his youthful look, it’s because he has. His incredible technique is a result of “Thousands and thousands of hours of practice throughout my life,” he says. Mr. Joseph has been playing the piano since the age of four. “It’s really been a lifetime devotion and I attribute a lot of the technical aspect and mastering technique to having a great teacher.”
Mr. Joseph is devoted to his fans just as much as he is to his music. “I really feel my fans are everything,” he says in that steady voice of his. “I love getting to know my fans.” He invited the entire audience to meet him after the show in the lobby as is his post-show tradition. “I just stay there until I talk to every single one of them.”

William Joseph Tour Press Release
CLASSICAL-POP PIANIST WILLIAM JOSEPH EMBARKS ON
FIRST-EVER U.S. HEADLINING TOUR JANUARY 9TH, 2009
January 5 — Burbank, CA — Pianist, composer and performer William Joseph will launch his first-ever headlining tour of the U.S. in support of his current 143 Records/Reprise album Beyond. The tour, which begins January 9th in Clearwater, FL, comes on the heels of his 2008 tours of Canada and the U.K., where the Phoenix native performed at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall and appeared on the U.K.’s top-rated morning show This Morning.
A passionate and dynamic performer, William is eager to bring the powerful live experience of Beyond to U.S. audiences. “To me, touring — and meeting people — completes the journey of making music, and it means so much to me to meet everyone who comes out to the shows,” William says. “I have never been prouder of anything I’ve done as I am of Beyond, and I want to share this music with everyone. I will meet every single person that comes to my shows, whether they want to or not!”
Released in summer 2008, the cinematic-sounding Beyond is a genre-defying crossover mélange that captures a variety of moods, from the dramatic, to the heart-wrenching, to the light and playful, and all performed with the emotional power and polished precision that William has become known for. The album was executive produced by the legendary David Foster, who discovered William at a charity event in 2003 and also produced his debut album, 2004’s Within. William is a featured artist on Foster’s new CD/DVD Hit Man and performs on the star-studded special David Foster and Friends currently airing on PBS.
Beyond has been included on Spectrum Culture’s “Best CDs of 2008,” which praised William for his “breathtaking piano playing.” He has also been called “a major young pop talent” by The Toronto Star.
